Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide PhD students with insight into university pedagogical practice in the form of a prepared talk in a course taught by their supervisor, where they will demonstrate the ability to translate their research into teaching. The topic of one or maximum two talks or seminar activities are prepared exclusively for students of the bachelor's degree programme after consultation with the supervisor. Students consult their preparation for their talk with the supervisor in advance, including the use of appropriate literature, the structure of the talk/seminar and the form and scope of the presentation.
After completing the course, students are able to develop, organize and assess an educational class for Bc students of art history and heritage conservation.
Prerequisites
General prerequisites for the PhD study of art history and heritage conservation. To enroll in the course, the prior consent of the supervisor and the chair of the PhD Study Programme Board, with the specification of the scope of pedagogical practice in the student's individual study plan for the given academic year are required.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance

The subject can be completed by the implementation of pedagogical practice in the form of a talk in a class taught by the supervisor, where the student proves his/her ability to translate his/her research into teaching. The student must conduct either two separate ninety minute lectures, or one ninety-minute lecture, plus additional input into teaching for a minimum of ninety minutes. The supervisor must be present to provide feedback to the student. Topics of the lectures or seminar exercises are prepared by the student exclusively for students of Bc programmes, and only after consultation with the supervisor. The student needs to consult the bibliography, lecture/seminar structure, its form and extent with the supervisor.
