Learning outcomes
The course focuses on the relations between China and the European Union and its member states. This relationship can be regarded as the world's second most important one overall - right after the one of the US-China. Moreover, economically speaking, the EU-China relations might even overtake the US-China in its importance due to its high level of trade, investments, technology, and people to people exchanges. The course will consist of two main parts - in the first, students will acquire overall information and understanding of the EU-China historical, political, economic, and other relations. In the second part, students will discuss individual case studies of EU member states.
