Course content
Teacher: Prof. Dr. Jung Soo SEO, dean of Keimyung Adams College and professor of economics at the Department of International Commerce of Keimyung University (KMU). This class is conducted via ZOOM, but students are, at least for the start, supposed to attend this in class. There will be one personal visit of Prof. Seo to Olomouc, in the second half of October, with a face-to-face class. This class is part of the KF Global e-school project, but it is exclusively offered to students from Olomouc.

Learning outcomes
This course on Korean economy and its international engagement is meant to help students in understanding the strategies and policies mobilised during the Korean economic development period; comprehending why such policies and strategies have been adopted, how, and their subsequent outcomes; understanding the roles state, business, and people have played; appreciating the forms and rationales of Korean international engagements via multilateral and regional trading arrangements, foreign direct investment, as well as other international organizations; understanding key Korean terms used in economy, business, and international relations; equipping students with skills useful in contacting and interacting with Koreans in doing business.
