Course content
|
The contents of this subject is a reading and translating Latin texts of selected authors. The aim is to achieve a basic routine in translating and interpteting original Latin text. The translation of the text is completed with a language and stylistic analysis and with presentation of cultural and historical context.

Knowledge of basic Latin grammar.

Mark, Oral exam
The course closes with reading and translating of a part of the text Bellum Gallicum, a student proves an ability to read, transtale and interpret an original Latin text.
