Learning and excercising of basic Latin grammar, translation of short Latin sentences and simple texts.

Learning outcomes
|
The course aims to provide students with basic knowledge of the Latin language, consisting of knowledge of the fundamentals of Latin grammar and vocabulary suitable for the study and interpretation of Latin texts on various subject.

Prerequisites
|
Students will acquire basic knowledge of Latin grammar and is able to translate individual sentences and simple texts from Latin into Czech.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral exam, Written exam
Active participation in classes, elaborate homeworks, passing written test.
