In recent years, as more learners seek employment at Korean companies or work in companies engaged in business with Korea, the importance of Korean communication skills in business settings has become increasingly evident. Accordingly, the demand for Korean language education for occupational purposes has grown significantly. In response to these social and professional needs, Sejong Business Korean: Basic Work Skills was developed to help learners with occupational goals use Korean effectively in real workplace situations and to gain a deeper understanding of Korean workplace culture. Through instruction based on this textbook, the course aims to provide learners with a foundation to actively participate as members of the Korean business community. The main features of this textbook and course are as follows: Sejong Business Korean: Basic Work Skills focuses on fundamental vocabulary and expressions related to work, with an emphasis on developing communicative competence in basic workplace situations. *Note: Recommended for second-year students and above due to the level of vocabulary covered.
