This comprehensive examination in Japanese language after the last semester of the M.A. study examines students' language skills acquired during their study in the M.A. program and their ability to write an essay free of major grammar, spelling and lexical mistakes, and without using a dictionary.
The student has demonstrated a language competence that is expected from a M.A. study program graduate.

It is required to have passed all required courses of the M.A. study program.
