Learning outcomes
|
This course focuses on traditional Japanese drama (noh, kabuki, joruri/bunraku, kyogen). Students deapen their knowledge of history, stage techniques and gestures of each drama form. Lectures also concentrate on main Japanese playwrights, and students analyse selected plays.
Upon successful completion of this course students will get a more detailed grasp of traditional Japanese drama.

This course is for students of Japanese philology in Masters´ programme.
