This course is specially designed to provide a comprehensive overview of Japanese written style, as written Japanese quite differs from the spoken form. Attention is paid to academic writing, which the students can well utilize during their stays at Japanese universitie.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will have an understanding of Japanese written style, its specific features and differences from the spoken language. They will be able to use the "de aru" form and write a well structured essay.
