To provide the student with the knowledge to enable him/her to acquire not only a basic orientation in the legal system and the most important legal regulations, but also to form his/her ability to apply this knowledge in the performance of social work and in civic life. Along with this, the course introduces students to the legislative and institutional context of social work practice. In this period of study, students are to be introduced to the basic concepts relating to the relationship of law to social work with adults and children.
