The course aims to help shape the spiritual and character profile of the future social (charity) worker. It is intended for students with a deeper interest in the spiritual dimension of their ministry. The course clarifies the spiritual approach to stressful and crisis situations in the service of the social (charity) worker, cultivating his/her ability to cooperate. It explores the understanding of the spiritual dimension in the concept of the human person, health and illness as a spiritual task, and looks at possible approaches to illness, dying and death. Using the examples of important figures in the history of Christian charity and their legacy and virtues, it seeks possible inspiration for the contemporary social (charity) worker.
