Course content
The course is divided into the following thematic units: 1. Sexuality and Marriage in the Holy Scripture and in the Tradition of the Church 2. Cohabitation as it actually exists 3. Masturbation 4. "Gender" ideology 5. Homosexuality 6. Gender identity disorders 7. HIV/AIDS 8. Sexual abuse

Learning outcomes
The course aims to introduce students to the main ethical areas related to marriage and family.
After completing the course, participants will be oriented in the current Church teaching on sexuality and marriage, will know how it has been shaped over the centuries, will be able to make informed statements on factual cohabitation, the issue of autoerotic behaviour, gender ideology, homosexuality, gender identity disorders, HIV/AIDS and will also learn a lot of helpful information about sexual abuse.
Prerequisites
All students are expected to have at least a basic knowledge of the history of European ethical thought, moral theology and the humanities, which are closely related to the issue of family and marriage.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam

For successful completion of the course, it is necessary to thoroughly master the teaching materials offered in the form of PowerPoint presentations and to study the literature referred to by the teacher during the course.
