The concept of theology (definition and division of theology, theological method, the relation of theology and faith, philosophy and spiritual life). Sources of theological cognition. The history of theology.

To understand what is theology, how it divided, what method it uses, what its relations with faith, philosophy and spiritual life are and what its sources are.The subject innovation has been supported by the project Support of Interdisciplinary studies and Study Programmes Innovations at Palacký University in Olomouc, CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0091.
Students will be introduced into the notion of theology itself and in this way they will be prepared for further theological studies.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Written exam
To pass an examination on the studied materials and on reading of complementary literature and to be able to apply acquired knowledge in further study of theology. The student is required to work with the learning objects, which have been created for the concrete subject and are available for authorized students in LMS EDIS.
