Course content
Psychology as a scientific discipline, relation of psychology to other disciplines within science, especially human science, history of psychology, basic psychological theories, especially biological psychology, behaviorism, psychodynamics, phenomenology, cognitive psychology, psychosocial psychology and humanistic psychology.

Learning outcomes
One of the main aims of the subject is to define psychology as a scientific discipline and focus on the relation of psychology to other disciplines within science, especially human science, also to concern with the history of psychology and with the basic psychological theories, especially biological psychology, behaviorism, psychodynamics, phenomenology, cognitive psychology, psychosocial psychology and humanistic psychology. To present basic topics of general psychology. The subject innovation has been supported by the project Support of Interdisciplinary studies and Study Programmes Innovations at Palacký University in Olomouc, CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0091.
Students will aquire knowledge of the most important psychological terms and theories.

To pass the final test. The student is required to work with the learning objects, which have been created for the concrete subject and are available for authorized students in LMS EDIS.
