Course content
The course focuses on the practical application of qualitative research methodology in social pedagogy. During the lectures we are approximated each phase of implementation of qualitative research and qualitative analysis. Special attention is paid to methods of obtaining research data and coding methods. Attention is also given mixed methods, and research plans. In seminars, considerable attention is paid to practical skills while working with the data obtained and processing research report.

Learning outcomes
- Gain knowledge and skills to use qualitative methodology in social educational research - Deepen knowledge about methods of data acquisition (stakeholders open and covert observation, individual and group interviews, focus groups, etc.) And processing (fixation of data, preparation for analysis, reduction of text encoding, Timeline) and their analysis (clusters, formula , contrasts and comparisons, metaphors, invoicing, grounded theory, narrative reconstruction)
- Students will gain knowledge and skills to use qualitative methodology in social and educational research - Students will learn methods of data acquisition, data processing and analysis - Students acquire skills presentation of the results of research and its application in practice

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam

Students submit and present research results. Exam: Written test to verify the theoretical knowledge of students.
