Learning outcomes
|
Students will gain knowledge necessary to understand the nature of social work in the social system. They become familiar with the conceptual apparatus, with ethic of social work, with types of clients and person of social worker included key competencies, which are used in social work, with valid legislation and typology of social services.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Seminar Work, Written exam
- participation in class discussions - exam - written test Students must have at least 80% participation in class. In case of lower participation, it is necessary to prepare a seminar paper (3-5 NS, ISO citation standard) on the topic - The role of a social educator in social work - current trends and research. Students with an individual study plan must complete a written test + 50% participation in seminars.
