Course content
|
The social educator in their socio-educational work meets various social groups. One of the groups for which it is important to promote a full-fledged leisure, are seniors. Gerontopedagogy, or adult education, is a borderline scientific discipline on the border pedagogy and gerontology. Gerontopedagogics subject is education, specifically their own senior education, preseniorská education (to prepare for old age) and proseniorská education (focused on social support of old age and intergenerational understanding).

Learning outcomes

- Reflect current knowledge gerontopedagogics, - Knowledge of the nature of seniors' - Knowledge of senior care in the broader social context and in the context of biological, psychological, social and spiritual changes in old age, - Knowledge of institutional and organizational security education of seniors in the background is a constituent gerontopedagogy science.
- Extended theoretical basis for practice in social pedagogy - Interdisciplinary perspective - Skills for socio-educational activity of seniors - Competence in developing individual plans for leisure seniors

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral exam
Designing a plan leisure activities for an individual along with the justification for meaning. An explanation of the selection of leisure activities will be supported in the literature.
