Course content
The subject Social Pedagogy focuses on social pedagogy as a science and its position in pedagogical disciplines, further on, this subject deals with problems of relations between society and education, as well as with connections between education and environment (focusing not only on the role of family as a part of social environment and educational factor but also on the role of various social groups in the life of man), simultaneously it gives examples of education in various life situations.It also focuses on institutions providing free-time activities and ways of spending free-time. One of the main regards will be the problems of family environment, its effect on man's social development and consequences of its non-function. This subject will be focused on students' educational competence.

Learning outcomes
The subject Social pedagogy focuses in detail on the activity fields of social pedagogy, especially with the field of prevention of social-pathological phenomena, effect of mass media, family environment, institutions providing free-time activities and ways of spending free-time. One of the main aims will be the problems of family environment, its effect on man's social development and consequences of its non-function. This subject will be focused on students' educational competence.
After passing this subject students will acquire basic abilities in identification and prevention of social-pathological phenomena as basic abilities for media education and education for free-time.

Seminar paper on a selected topic, and passing an oral examination (dialogue on a given topic).
