Course content
|
The subject focuses on giving basic orientation in the system of university studies, organization of work and the system of evaluation at university. It introduces the information system of Palacký University by using the local computer network, one of the topics is showing how to write a paper and introducing basic terminology used in the field of pedagogy.

Learning outcomes
|
This subject's aim is to give basic orientation in the system of university studies, organization of work and the system of evaluation at universities. It introduces the information system of Palacký University by using the local computer network, library services and catalogues of university libraries and the State Scientific Library in Olomouc, possibilities of using further information sources etc. The aim is to introduce specialities in the study of pedagogically focused study programmes and also to help at managing inter-faculties two-field studies. Students will get to know the norms determining bibliographical quotations, the way of writing seminar papers, possibilities of using e-learning portal of the university etc.
Students will be able to search study literature, work with it and refer to it in their papers. They will gain knowledge of basic terms related to pedagogy.
