Course content
The aim of the seminars is to prepare students for future work with volunteers and issues relating to the management of volunteering. Students will understand the importance of volunteering in terms of social, economic and personal and learn to use appropriate methodology for this activity with various target groups.

Learning outcomes
The seminars aim at making the students ready for future work with volunteers and dealing with issues regarding volunteering management. The student will understand the significance of volunteering from civil, economic as well as personal perspectives and will get familiar with relevant methods with respect to various target groups.
Student will acquire qualification in application the legal framework of volunteering in the CR, will compare it with legal frameworks in other EU member states, will understand the significance of volunteering centers and will gain qualification in establishing rules for volunteering management in various types of NGOs. He/she will design actual volunteering projects, apply current methodologies of work with volunteers and create new ones with regards to needs and objectives of actual institutions.
Prerequisites
The student will be knowledgeable in legislature relevant to non-governmental sector, will be familiar with differences that disable unified rules for non-profit sector within the EU and will appreciate the contribution of philanthropist activities to development of civil sector and democracy.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance

Student is asked to pass a written exam focused on proving sound knowledge of legal framework, international comparison and basic concepts of management and project management of volunteering programs.
