Social work and education are the two disciplines, which in part overlap. Although both disciplines have different origins, historical development and practical use of these disciplines in some cases perceived as identical. Common to both disciplines can be considered a target group of interest and objective in their work. What is not mutually separated, while highlighting their importance, are the methods of work which fulfills the aim for a given social group. In social pedagogy is put emphasis on socio-educational work.
