Course content
Social stratification and exclusion in the historical development (Marx, Parsons, Toynbee, Goffman), dimensions of social exclusion, positivistic and relativistic solutions manuals, forms the so-called culture of poverty and the underclass, methods and techniques of research, social work in socially excluded groups and communities.

Student performance

Student after completing a series of lectures can choose from the menu or professional literature chooses literature by subjective considerations (in consultation with the lecturer). The selected publication (or more) student is analyzed. Create your own critical evaluation of the text, which will include a seminar thesis. In case of vague topics, rejection evaluation, lecturer accede to the individual consultation on the issue.
