Course content
|
The course deals with following issues: social integration of foreigners and different aspects of it; problems of foreigners that limit their integration; specifics and challenges of social work with foreigners; methods of social work with foreigners; macro practice in social work with foreigners.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to prepare students for social work with foreigners. Next aim is to analyse question of foreingers' integration together with possibilities of solving problems connected to it. The subject innovation has been supported by the project Support of Interdisciplinary studies and Study Programmes Innovations at Palacký University in Olomouc, CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0091.
Students are able to identify different aspects of foreigners' integration. They know problems that foreigners mostly deal with. They know and are able to apply the basic methods of social work with foreigners.

Written exam
Active participation in the class session The student is required to work with the learning objects, which have been created for the concrete subject and are available for authorized students in LMS EDIS.
