Social policy within the the market economy; Social security system and instruments; Assistance to families with children through the state social support, benefits and social care services; Problems of integrační politiky and other politics.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to inform students about problems of social policy of state, its types, functions, principles and implements. Students are also introduced important spheres of social policy-family policy and integration policy.
The course provides understanding of the importance of social policy in market economy and the importance of social measures as instruments of social peace in society.

- interest in social problems; - monitoring of events in society.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Written exam, Seminar Work
- self -study of recommended literature; - presentation of individual work at the seminar; - participation of student on the discussion; - final written test.
