Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is for students to understand the basic concepts and processes associated with globalization; to be able to recognize and name the causes, consequences and interrelationships of global problems and their manifestations at the local or regional level; and to be able to define how these problems determine the development of humanitarian disasters and selected social problems.
After completing the course students will : - know the most important global issues and be able to reflect on their causes, manifestations, consequences and interconnections, especially from a social perspective; - perceive the complexity of global issues and be able to reflect on them in their work; - know the actors influencing the causes, consequences or solutions to global problems; - be able to gather relevant information, understand it and make decisions based on it.

Oral exam, Student performance, Systematic Observation of Student, Written exam

Attendance (possible absence: 20%) Preparedness for and active participation in class according to the detailed syllabus presented at the beginning of the course Reflection on the problem chosen for the project in a global context as per the project assignment
