By understanding the evolution of the social work in history is supoorted the professional identity of social worker today. The subject innovation has been supported by the project Support of Interdisciplinary studies and Study Programmes Innovations at Palacký University in Olomouc, CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0091.
To differentiate the various types of social akctivities in czech and european history, to be aware of the historical conditionality of the social problems and to strenghten own profesional identity.
