Course content
|
This course is designed primarily for students entering the master's degree of international humanitarian and social work bachelor's degree from a somewhat different focus. The student provides basic knowledge of humanitarian aid, history and rules of the provision. The content of the basic definitions, the international context, international institutions and treaties, history, Code of Ethics, Humanitarian Charter and Minimum Standards current perceptions of the delivery of humanitarian aid.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to understand the complex system of international humanitarian assistance and to get basic knowledge about the rules and implementation of humanitarian assistance in emergency situation.
Students will acquire basic information on international cooperation on humanitarian assistance, development, humanitarian assistance and above all learn the principles of correct delivery.
