Introduction to study, plan and way of teaching the course. Required study materials. Outputs and feedback. Introduction to the topic Quality management and quality measurement, quality culture, quality indicators Theoretical background and historical development of general models of management and quality assessment Model evaluation and quality management - ISO, BSC, 2Q Model evaluation and quality management - TQM, EFQM National quality policy and the European social model, the policy quality of social services in different European countries Quality in the Czech legislation? development and current status Quality standards of social services of the Czech Republic Verification of quality inspection methodology of quality social services Self-evaluation in social services Analysis of the level of quality concrete social services

Learning outcomes

Student: - knows the theoretical foundations and historical development of general models of management and quality assessment - understand basic concepts such as quality management and quality measurement, quality culture, quality indicators, quality standards - knows the structure, characteristics and principles of the most common systems management and quality measurement (ISO, TGM, EFQM, BSC, 2Q, CAF) - has an overview of policy quality social services in different European countries - has a detailed knowledge of legislation relating to the quality of social services in the Czech Republic The organization is able to support practically desirable quality culture - means the quality standards of social services of the Czech Republic - can the quality standards of social services to implement in practice - controls monitoring tools and evaluation of the quality and filling gaps - know the rules and methodology isnpekce quality social services

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam, Seminar Work

Daily attendance: Understanding the curriculum content and reflection on practice will be practicing through continuous exercise. The ability of applications to be tested on model examples , practical situations. Attendance at seminars is compulsory. The test has two parts. The first is the submission of two essays to the desired level, throughout the semester. The second is a written test. Written work: The selected model quality assessment and quality standards of social services of the Czech Republic , comparative studies , range 8000 - 11,000 characters (including spaces) Fulfilling the selected standards of quality specific social services , analysis , range 13000 - 16,000 characters ( including spaces , no attachments) . Part-time study : The test has two parts. The first is the submission of two essays to the desired level, throughout the semester. The second is a written test.
