Course content
The survey of the main groups of the Christian denominations from posision of their social-commitment. The presentation of main attitudes and requirements within selected Christian confessions and world religions (Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhkism) and selected cultures (African) as like as their impacts into social sphere.

Learning outcomes
To give information about the important facts for social work (f.e. the family, illness, death, poverty, social exclusion, attitude to work and to aid, acces to education, relations with the other ethnics and religions) within the selected cultures, world religions and the Christian denominations. The subject innovation has been supported by the project Support of Interdisciplinary studies and Study Programmes Innovations at Palacký University in Olomouc, CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0091.
The student will able to basic orientation in the other cultural and religious systems from point of view of his future profession.
Prerequisites
Knowledge in social-work at bachelor degree.

Assessment methods and criteria
Dialog

The achieving of required knowledges proved by colloqium. The student is required to work with the learning objects, which have been created for the concrete subject and are available for authorized students in LMS EDIS.
