Social policy within the the market economy; Social security system and instruments; Specific problems and questions of social policy; Assistance to families with children through the state social support, social benefits and social care services; Problems of integration policy.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to inform students about problems of social policy of state, its types, functions, principles and implements. Students are introduced important spheres of social policy-questions of poverty,family policy and integration policy.
Students orientation in the basics of social policy and understanding of its significance in the market economy.

Prerequisites
|
- interest in social sphere and in social problems; - monitoring of events in society; - orientation in sociology.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral exam, Seminar Work
- participation in discussion; - presentation of individual work; - discussion-based university exam.
