The aim of this course is to acquaint students with the part of the national economy, which is generally referred to as non-market (profit), and with detailed interpretation of the concepts of civil society and legal adjustment of civil institutions and procedures for their establishment.

Learning outcomes
|
In relation to Foundations of Economics the aim of this course is to acquaint students with the part of the national economy, which is generally referred to as non-market (profit), and with detailed interpretation of the concepts of civil society and legal adjustment of civil institutions and procedures for their establishment.
Students become familiar with the functions and competences of non-profit sector organizations, to learn the basic characteristics of non-profit organizations in the broader and narrower sense, to understand the differences in the management of non-profit entities.

Prerequisites
|
Students must have knowledge of Fundamentals of economics and distinguish between types of institutions in all parts of the economy.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Written exam
Examination at the end of the semester, one credit test during the semester and active participation in the lectures.
