Course content

To acquaint students with personality characteristics and psychological processes and states which are used in various forms of spiritual life, and which as a part of human nature are developed by the mercy of God. Interpretation of social forms of spiritual life and particular religions and new religious movements - sociological perspective.

Learning outcomes
|
To acquaint students with personality characteristics and psychological processes and states which are used in various forms of spiritual life, and which as a part of human nature are developed by the mercy of God. Interpretation of social forms of spiritual life and particular religions and new religious movements - sociological perspective.
Students will gain knowledge about what impedes and what on the contrary supports spiritual life on psychological and social level. Students gain skills for concentration, inwardness and openness to the impact of the mercy of God through usage of practical self-recognition exercises.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance
Participation in the seminar exercises, elaboration of seminar paper on their style of spiritual life and its cultivation. Elaboration of essay on psycho-spiritual literature and fiction reading.
