Course content
|
Currently, the academic world puts emphasis on knowledge of foreign languages: especially on productive skills in writing and speaking. In this course, students should build on communicative proficiency in a foreign language, acquired in undergraduate studies, and they should also acquire the knowledge and skills required for presentation in the target language. Upon completion of that course, students should be able not only to a selected topic in the target language appropriately to present before an audience, but they should be able to chosen theme also lead discussions and be able to argue in an appropriate manner. Offer foreign languages from which students can choose from: English, German, Italian.

Learning outcomes

- Knowledge of the concepts of social pedagogy in foreign language - Developing understanding professional texts from the field of social pedagogy - Development komuniktivních foreign language skills with regard to situations where social educator meets with clients - Develop language skills needed for creating presentation in the target language, and management discussion
- Due to the widespread use of specialized texts theoretical knowledge in social pedagogy - Development of language and communication skills - Competence for presentation on topics in social pedagogy in the target language

Prerequisites

Completing the first part of the course.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral exam
Student presents selected topic (eg. his/her research results) in the target language.
