Basic features of the Eastern Catholic Churches Law mainly by comparison of the adjustments contained in the Code of Canons of the Eastern Churches (CCEO) and Western Catholic legislation contained in the Code of Canon Law (CIC). The development of the oriental canon law. The patriarchal institution and the typology of the oriental Churches. The interrelationship between CCEO and CIC. Sacraments - differences between CCEO and CIC. The law of consacrated life - comparison CCEO and CIC. The penal and particular law - comparison CCEO and CIC.
