Course content
The principles, philosophy and theology of Canon Law. Theory of law. General rules. Personal law. Teaching office of the Church. Office of sanctifying in the Church. Marriage Law. Property law. Penal law. Procedure of declaration of nullity of marriage.

Learning outcomes
The most important questions from the principles of Canon Law and general rules. Rights adn duties of Christians. Hierarchical structure of Catholic Church of latin rite. Teaching office of the Church. Law of Sacraments, particularly Mariage Law. Brief view of law of sacred life. Property law. Penal law and Procedure of declaration of nullity of marriage. The subject innovation has been supported by the project Support of Interdisciplinary studies and Study Programmes Innovations at Palacký University in Olomouc, CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0091
Students gain a basic survey of the above mentioned fields of Canon Law of the Latin Catholic Church and abilities to apply this knowledge in their pastoral practice.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam

Participation in the lectures, examination. The student is required to work with the learning objects, which have been created for the concrete subject and are available for authorized students in LMS EDIS.
