Introduction into the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Learning outcomes
The subject of children's rights will introduce students to the concept of child and childhood from the perspective of history and the present. Students in this course learn the basic legal documents in the field of the protection of the rights of children and to the specific procedures, which are not law implemented. In addition, they will navigate in the current issue, which brings this area and get acquainted with the most common cases where children's rights are violated or threatened. On specific examples and cases subsequently learns of possible procedures and interventions from the perspective of the social educator professions. The subject innovation has been supported by the project Support of Interdisciplinary studies and Study Programmes Innovations at Palacký University in Olomouc, CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0091.
