The establishment and development of the preservation of historical monuments since the half of the 19th century on the territory of the Czech Republic, Historical Monuments Law number 22/1987Sb. and its interpretation, chosen technological and art-historical problems in the preservation of historical monuments, protection of sacral buildings and art.

The aim of this seminar is to introduce principles of care for Church historical monuments and its institutional embodiment.
Students should learn to appreciate Church historical monuments and to know that it is necessary to protect them.
