Learning outcomes |
To become acquainted with the history and importance of Coptic language, with the basic morphology and syntax of its oldest standard form, i.e. Sahidic dialect.
The ability to understand classical Coptic texts, including some non-standard texts of Nag-Hammadi (the Coptic Gospel of Thomas). |
