Course content
1. pronuntiation 2. noun of the 1th and 2nd declination 3. adjectives of the 1th and 2nd declination 4. noun and adjectives of the 3nd declination 5. present system of the verb of 1th - 4th conjugation 6. noun of the 4th and 5th declination

Learning outcomes
An introduction into the study of Latin, acquisition of the pronuntiation, the basic vocabulary and morphology of the Latin language.
Students will cover approximately chapters 1 through 7 from the textbook Základy latinského jazyka pro posluchače teologie (Basics of Latin Language for Students of Theology) by M. Šlesinger. They are able to read simple, unrevised Latin texts. The reading is focused on the Latin of the Vulgate and liturgy.
Prerequisites
Interest in studying the issue.
