Course content
Each webinar will consist of a guided reading and discussion of Clement's text. We will work with an Czech translation of Clement's Quis dives salvetur?, which will be made available to registered students in the online school on the course website.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to introduce the students of theology to the concept of the Church as a community of poor and rich Christians on the basis of an annotated reading of the early Christian writing Quis dives salvetur by Clement of Alexandria.

Prerequisites
Interest in the topic, previous completion of Patrology I is an advantage, but not a necessary condition.

Assessment methods and criteria
Dialog, Video essay

Active participation in webinars is required for successful completion of the course. Each student will be asked to thoroughly study a particular passage of Clement's work (2-3 pages in length) during the semester, which will be reported on in the webinar. Individual student reports will further serve as a starting point for a group discussion. Credit will be awarded based on active participation in the webinars and the final video essay.
