Course content
|
A cursory reading of the Greek (New Testament) or Hebrew (Old Testament) text of a selected book of the Bible. The texts chosen for the 2024/2025 academic year will be from the Gospel of Matthew.

A closer encounter with the original wording of a selected biblical text and a perception of the specifics of its language.

Basic knowledge of New Testament Greek or Biblical Hebrew.

|
Student performance
Successful completion of the course requires active participation in class and the ability to read and translate 3-4 chapters of a selected Bible book.
