The subject is concerned with relevant basics and the main themes of clinical psychology and psychopathology. It will primarily focus on mental disorders and mental aspects of somatic illnesses, on scholarly research in this area, diagnostics and treatment. The main themes include the etiology and analysis of the conditions of emergence, classification and diagnostics, prevention, therapy, rehabilitation, epidemiology and evaluation. The students will learn how to recognize and critically evaluate connections and how to apply scientific knowledge.
