The aim of the course is to teach students how to work effectively with scholarly texts and resources, especially on major databases such as Web of Science, Scopus and PubMed. Students will learn how to use these databases to locate relevant sources, catalog and correctly find key information. Major objectives include: - To teach students how to use major scholarly databases and search engines to find relevant sources and information. - Improve students' skills in cataloging and organizing the resources they find so that they can work effectively with these resources and improve their ability to analyze and interpret data. - To teach students how to properly search for key information in scholarly texts in order to produce their own papers and publications that are of high quality and relevance. - Improve students' critical thinking and analysis skills so that they can assess and evaluate a variety of sources and information.
