Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic areas of psychology and psychopathology, which can then use in their practice as a social worker. Topics cover a large part of general and special psychopathology. The content is adapted to the target group of students and will enable them to orientate themselves in the basics of psychopathology.
Students will gain competence in recognizing the causes and signs of mental disorders. They will be familiar with the basics of treatment and diagnosis of basic psychopathological conditions. The topics will be maximally connected with practice and from the space for discussion students will also have the opportunity to gain practical skills in working with clients with mental disorders.
