Philosophical, sociological and human rights concepts that constitute the mental health care system are presented to the students with hope that their application into students´ professional lives will contribute to changes in the mental health care system in the Czech Republic to contribute to equal opportunities of all people especially people with mental illness in our society, which is required by the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
