Learning outcomes
|
Methodology and language seminar for prospective science teachers. - understand the principles of the CLIL method - expand language skills in ESP - master strategies for integrating a foreign language into science teaching - expand professional competences.
Acquisition of language knowledge (general English and English for specfific purposes) on the B1-B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference.

Prerequisites
|
A minimum English language level of B1-B2 on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages is required. Students are expected to have a good knowledge of general English (B1+ level).

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral exam, Final project
- Active participation in class - Homework assignments as assigned - 3 permitted absences - Successful completion of the oral exam. Preparation and presentation of a CLIL-based teaching project tailored to the student's field of study for high school students.
