Course content
Fundamentals of landscape ecology. Key concepts in landscape ecology. Ecosystems in landscape scale. Ecosystems services and their assessment. applying of landscape ecology to conservation biology. Cultural landscape, monitoring of changes. GIS in the assessment of landscape. Landscape character and its conservation. Habitat clasification systems.

Learning outcomes
The goal of the subject is presentation of actual trends in the frame of the landscape ecology and applying of this one in the environmental studies.
Skill in order to applying of landscape ecological methods to dealing with environmentals problems.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge from the fundamentals of ecology.
