Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to introduce students to the main perspectives of language study throughout history and to selected methodologies in the field of contemporary linguistic research, in particular the basics of discourse analysis, cognitive linguistics and pragmatics. Special attention will be paid to working tools and research products.
The student has knowledge regarding the study of languages throughout history and selected methodologies and tools in the field of contemporary linguistic research.

Seminar Work, Written exam

Written test and final seminar paper.
