Course content
|
Economic evaluation provides feedback on whether a particular investment program represents an effective expenditure of financial, human, and material resources. The course introduces students to selected analytical tools used in the areas of development cooperation and environmental protection. Specifically, it is cost-benefit analysis (CBA), cost-effectiveness analysis (CEA), and cost-utility analysis (CUA). The case studies discussed within the subject are relevant primarily for developing countries.

The course aims to introduce to students basic tools of economic evaluation
Students and understand basic tools of the economic evaluation. They can use these tools in practice.
