Course content
|
The field trip consists of visits, presentations and discussions in the organizations that act in the field of development. The destination city/country in which the field trip is organized changes throughout the years (e. g. Bratislava and Vienna, Switzerland, Brussels and Strasbourg).

Learning outcomes
|
The main aim of the course is to create links between theory and practice throughout the discussions in different NGOs and government organizations in selected European cities.
Students are expected to obtain knowledge directly from the field and to be able to connect the theoretical background with practical examples. Students should also be capable to analyze the work of visited organizations, by getting answers to his/her questions.

Assessment methods and criteria

Written exam, Student performance, Seminar Work
Students are required to actively participate in discussions throughout all the visits realized in the frame of the field trip. Moreover, students are obliged to get prepared for the program even before the beginning of trip (i.e. to find certain information about the organizations that will be visited). The course is completed by the knowledge test (acquired during the field trip). All the field trips will be held abroad.
